Born and raised in Hillsdale, Matt found his passion for landscaping at 15, starting with mowing neighborhood lawns. By 17, he owned his first truck and trailer and grew his business beyond his hometown.
After graduating from Pascack Valley High School in 2014, he pursued college while working as a police dispatcher and volunteering with local fire and ambulance services. In 2017, recognizing the opportunity in the landscaping industry, he officially founded Pascack Valley Landscaping.
What began as a one-man operation is now a full-service company with 29 employees, offering landscape design, construction, maintenance, and snow services. Today, Matt oversees daily operations, focusing on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Matt welcomed Wade to the team in 2021 as his right-hand man. Also from Hillsdale, Wade holds a Business Management degree from Ramapo College and brings strong experience in management and customer service.
He quickly advanced from an office assistant to Operations Manager, now overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring every project runs smoothly. His leadership helps maintain excellent service and supports the success of the entire team.
With a skilled team of 29 employees, we have the expertise and equipment to handle projects of all sizes. Our crew brings hard work, pride, and professionalism to every job. Outside of work, they’re family-focused and active in their communities, enjoying hobbies like fishing and spending quality time with loved ones.
